How to have clean fresh pure air at home?

leave a comment »

Always ventilate indoor air frequently.
Wash bedding materials frequently in hot water (above 60 degree C) to reduce dust mites.
Never cook with charcoal in our home.
Clean ceiling fans so they do not spread accumulated dust particles throughout the house.
Clean air-cons and ventilating systems frequently to ensure fresh air circulation in the room.
Run a dehumidifier in places with high relative humidity to prevent the striving of airborne allergens and germs.
Use a vacuum tool to dust instead of a cloth or duster which may spread dust into the air.
Remove shoes before entering our house to prevent bringing in unwanted dirt, dust and other contaminants into our living environment.

Breathe … enjoy lives!
Appreciate our air …
Fresh air is precious ….
Fesh air is blessing …
I still remember how I ended up spending 4 days to get from America to Asia because our plane has oxygen leakage.
God, I am so grateful for fresh air that You gives us every second of our lives.

KIT KAT
My twitter in May 2011:
Craving for Kit Kat! [Count my blessings]: KK original, KK green tea matcha (bought in Narita), KK cherry / strawberry, KK orange, dark choco (UK). Wanted: KK melon.

I want to buy KK melon and KK white chocolate!
I want to buy KK cinnamon, coffee, available in Canada.
KK Café Latte with Hokkaidō Milk, KK Tiramisu Macha, available in Japan, sigh.
Nestle, I want KK pistachio! Please produce them.
Once, I drank super delicious McDonald melonshake in 2007 at Seoul, but I could not find it at Seoul McDonald in 2011. I want melon! Melonia!

Kit Kat, an expression invented in Britain in the 1930s, sounds eerily close to “kitto katsu,” a Japanese exam-season mantra that literally means “I’ll do my best to make sure I succeed”.

Indeed, when I was preparing for exams so that I could win a university scholarship, I ate KK after night revision to reward myself. Happy memory can be very simple.

Tertiary education to cherish

leave a comment »

Recently, through God-given natural instinct for beautiful and big-dreaming people, I am so grateful to learn from this charming and generous lady TP.

She commented that many students do not cherish their opportunities to receive tertiary education.
Do you still remember when you were fighting just for a slot in your undergraduate university?
I am grateful that I made it (entering with hopes, exiting with even bigger hopes and determinations to give my best in this life to family, society, and the world)
A senior commented how colorful my undergraduate days.
He is right.
A junior student even openly admire my achievements.
I am touched.
Received scholarship.
Among top students, even I would say that there are many others who are more intellectual than me.
Completed a minor program in a year together with my major workload.
Succeeded to secure an exchange study and obtained good results.
Went to a summer program at the most prestigious university of a country.
Worked part-time.
A student leader, rubbed shoulder with nation leaders.A volunteer (a mentor, a first aider).

While these experiences seem prestigious and fanciful, it is the learning process that allow me to grow.
Counting these blessings, I could only thank God.
Re-searching my passion and leadership.

@~@
Other stuff learnt from TP:
3 (simple) rules of risk management:
1. do not risk more than you can afford to lose.
2. consider the odds.
3. do not risk a lot for a little.

I am a blessed person

Last night, Darling mother prepared bird nest soup for us.
We learnt about the Billing Ovulation Method.
This morning, we had our brunch together with the scenery across the road.
I love coconut, but I refrained from drinking it for health concern.
God, thank you for blessing me with a loving Darling.
Please help both of us to graduate from our study.
I will try my best to understand my study materials, it is the efforts that count.

The evolution of aspirations

leave a comment »

When I am in high school, I dream of going to a famous university overseas, travel the world, meet people from different cultural, religious, political backgrouds whom I have never encountered before.

When I am in undergraduate, I aspire to heal the world. I am afraid of blood, so cross out doctor as a profession of choice. I did not mind to go to the lab 7-day a-week, arriving in the morning, leaving in the morning too (early a.m. hour). Then, I realized that my body is not strong enough to endure this challenge, I need work life balance.

When I have lived a quarter-of-century, I appreciate finance, investment, and entrepreneurship, for I wish to start a family and to spend quality time with my family. No matter what I will do, what professions I will undertake, I wish that I will be able to do God’s will, to do what I love with my best efforts and use them as service to others.
