Good foods for gastric problems

Good:
Yogurt.
Brown / basmati / grain rice.
Apples.
Pears.
Lentils.
Spinach.
Dark green, leafy vegetables e.g. asparagus, spinach.
Steamed vegetables e.g. steamed broccoli.
Soy products: soy milk, tofu.
low-fat proteins e.g. lean meats, fish.

Avoid:
spicy foods.
curry.
caffeine (coffee, tea).
cocoa / chocolate.
lemons.
orange juice.
tomato products.
raw broccoli.
high-fat proteins.

Some people may experience gas, bloating and stomach pain after consuming:
milk.
cheese.
