God is with us: play and study

Well, my live revolve around two things: studying and playing. My work is studying, my study is working. Haha, sounds so geeky. Would like to share “God’s accompany me” in both studying and playing.

This is from the purple card with a field of flowers that Brother V gave me during my undergraduate exam period:
“God has not promised skies always blue,
flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God has not promised sun without rain,
joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God has promised strength for the day,
rest for the labor, light for the way,
grace for the trials, help from above,
unfailing sympathy, undying love.”
– Kristone

Besides immersing myself in library and lab, my other favorite things are watching movies, traveling, and taking pictures. Yes, traveling! I travel through movies that I watch, I also take pictures when I watch movies and travel. I have loved to take pictures since I was a kid, but I am getting interested in the arts & science of taking pictures when I was in Vancouver, a very beautiful city. There is a reason for that, for a sake of letting someone that I love so much to have a look. Enough of me trying to link here and there, below is from a book by Lou Jones.

“A much travelled man knows many things and a man of great experience will talk sound sense.
Someone who has never had his trials knows little; but the traveled man is master of every situation.
I have seen many things on my travels, I have understood more than I can put into words.”
– Eccclesiasticus 14:9-12
